nb42: @sids Ayn Rand gave me a headache as bad as Dan Brown. I should've given up after the first 100 pages. "We never learn, do we?"

sids: @topa I have read through only half of The Fountainhead. I guess it's a little premature of me to be commenting on it.

topa: @sids also notice how towards the end of Fountainhead realistic/human characters(Wynand) come into picture. That's Rand's ideologies evolving

topa: @sids I however prefer Fountainhead to Atlas. Its more "pure" and idealistic than Atlas.Atlas is more real-world.

sids: @topa Hm. That sounds like just enough of a reason to read Atlas Shrugged. Thanks.

topa: @sids Rand was working on her objectivist ideologies in Fountainhead, hence the "inhuman" chars.Atlas Shrugged has believable humans in it

sids: I find the characters in The Fountainhead to be very inhumane. Which is alright, except that it is supposed to be good; that's not alright.

sids: @nb42 I don't mind the hate speeches. I find them amusing, as long as I can stay dispassionate.
